There are different pre-packaged audio speaker systems. One of the most known is Dolbi Digital 5.1 surround sound. It consists of 5 speakers placed in specific locations in the listening area. It that way the listeners thinks that they are in the midle of the action. The configuration with this 5.1 system is like this:
Two audio speakers are situated in front-left and fron-right side of the listener.
One center speaker is on top of or hangs directly over the television.
Surround sound is known for it’s rear left and rare right speakers which provides some of the subtleties and dispatches background sound.
Subwoofer can be situated anywhere in the room.
